Lila Muktarzada and Kristen Woodward were awarded an ACRE grant over the January 2009 interim. The project explores biological imagery in their mixed media works.

Professor Woodward and her advanced painters are currently exhibiting small paintings at Elon University's Small Works Invitational, at their Arts West Gallery, in Elon, North Carolina (the show runs through Jan., 2009)

Kaila Hawriluk and Chris Kovensky both had solo exhibits of their paintings at the Historic Wyndam Hotel in the Abe Lincoln building in downtown Reading.

AVAO, Albright's Visual Art Organization, attended a glass blowing workshop at the Goggleworks. They will also be organizing an exhibit of artwork by Albright students at the Goggleworks in December, 2008.

Brian Cavanaugh has a painting selected for the 37th Annual Juried Art Exhibition at the Suzanne H. Arnold Gallery, Lebanon Valley College, Annville, PA 

Christopher Kovensky exhibited a painting in the Show Up & Show exhibition at the Lancaster Museum of Art, Lancaster, PA

The annual juried student exhibition will open Friday, May 5th from 4 – 6 pm in the Freedman Gallery.

Junior Art/Environmental Studies concentrator Megan Dietz has been awarded a summer ACRE grant to make paper with Kristen Woodward, summer 2006.
