Studying economics at an undergraduate level provides an excellent overview to the decision-making process of business. Economics provides a framework for analyzing problems, comparing alternatives and identifying the strengths and weaknesses of policies and approaches. Students with a strong background in economics have excelled on the LSAT and other graduate exams and have gone to careers in business, government and academia. National trends are showing that students and employers are increasingly recognizing the importance of economic skills in business leaders.
