Praxis Information

Pennsylvania Department of Education requires that specific Praxis tests relevant to desired certification be taken and passed. Students must pass Praxis I (Reading, Writing and Math) before they begin junior level education courses.

Candidates for K-6 and K-12 certifications must pass the Fundamental Subjects: Content Knowledge praxis prior to beginning their professional semester.
